Open Iphone Simulator Mac

I recently received a new MacBook Pro and started configuring debugging tools I had debugged ages ago on my personal machine. In doing so, I completely forgot that the iOS Simulator provided by XCode isn't added directly to the Applications directory; instead, you have to dig into the following directory to get to it:

IphoneSimulator

Iphone 4s Simulator For Mac

Open one of the projects with Xcode 3.1, then Build and Go. The active SDK should already be the Aspen simulator, so it will open that and show the iPhone simulator with the running project. As you build more iPhone projects the simulated iPhone remembers all of them, even though their Xcode projects have been closed! The Remoted iOS Simulator for Windows is installed automatically as part of Xamarin in Visual Studio 2019 and Visual Studio 2017. To use it, follow these steps: Pair Visual Studio 2019 to a Mac Build host. In Visual Studio, start debugging an iOS or tvOS project. The Remoted iOS Simulator for Windows will appear on your Windows machine.

Taken with an iphone 8. Also macOS High Sierra is here. Windows 10 v1903 Spring 2019 Edition is out and screenshots are available. The Control Panel has almost been replaced with Settings (select from the Start menu). If you see any problems let me know. Screenshots for Edge v77 are on the website. Check the Browsers menu for them. Open Xcode - Window - Devices and Simulators. Check if there is any Simulator in left list,if not add the + button. Select Device Type and OS Version and click Create. Restart Visual Studio you will see the simulator in configuration. (I test with VS for mac 8.9.1 and Xcode 12.4.

Since I don't like hassles, and you probably don't either, I quickly created a symbolic link for the Applications directory to alleviate the pain:

And with that bit of help, I can easily get to my iOS emulator, and then open iWebInspector and other mobile debugging tools. Sweet!
